This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Sixteen. Wallflower. I consider myself primarily a painter, but when the paints are stored away, the camera is brought out. I am not experienced, even in the slightest manner: I am an amateur at best. But like many, I take art as an escape from reality. After all, we're all mad here.

It doesn't feel like winter. Not with these snowless days and the fifty degree weather that greets me every morning as I walk out the door. The sun's rays are too warm and the grass is as green as it was back in spring. I yearn for the days where I wake up in the morning to the sound of shovels hitting the hard ice and find that school's been canceled. I miss the days where I'd hear the noises of snow plows running through my street.
I just want winter. So it'll be that much closer to summer. Junior year is living torture.
But right now, I'm on winter break! It's already day four of my ten days off, but I'm trying not to think about that. I just wish I didn't have a term paper to write, three chapters of chemistry to learn, a euro exam to take, and a project to finish.
*sigh*
On a different note, I recently had this painting entered into a competition and it "won." (It's basically just a showcase so winning means it'll be displayed along with many others!) I was really excited when I got the e-mail back from them. I'm just sad that this means I'll be without this painting for a full year since the showcase lasts all of 2012.
I also didn't realize I've now been on deviantART for four years now. Man, time flies.
Anyhow, did you all get what you wanted for the holidays? Hopefully all has been well!
Enjoy the rest of 2011, and have a happy new year!
